John Mistler, a current mathematics and music educator with experience in elementary, middle, and high school settings. John brings a dynamic and innovative approach to the classroom, instilling a love for mathematics and music in students, fostering an environment of curiosity, and establishing connections that extend beyond the subject matter taught in the classroom.

Andie Mistler, a licensed mental health counselor with dual degrees in Mental Health Counseling (Ed.M) and Counseling Psychology (M.A.) from Teachers College, Columbia University. Her educational program heavily integrated principles of social justice and anti-racism across the curriculum, and her coursework included recognizing and addressing microaggressions in institutional climates, career counseling, program evaluation, and consulting in community agencies, in addition to coursework in mental health, pathology and counseling.
While she has worked with children, families, and adults on a wide range of individual and interpersonal issues, much of her clinical experience has been working with teachers -- helping them to achieve better work-life balance, reduce anxiety, and set effective personal and professional boundaries to avoid burnout and perform their best professionally without compromising their mental well-being. She draws upon existential, narrative, and cognitive behavioral therapies and incorporates principles of coaching and motivational interviewing in her work to help clients implement positive behavior change. Exploring the role of identity, social role and intersectionality via consciousness raising practices is also a major component of her work.
Hobbies include gardening, running and foraging wild edible plants and fruits.
Janine Birchard, a current licensed school counselor with experience in the middle and high school setting, has been a school counselor for seven years. She is currently working at the secondary level in Flagstaff, Arizona. Janine prides herself in making connections with all stakeholders in the school system and efficiently and effectively utilizing these connections to broaden her scope and skills in direct service with students. She incorporates the American School Counseling Association (ASCA) National Model in her practice to serve all students in various demographics and income statuses.
Hobbies include hiking, board gaming, tending to her houseplants, and hanging out with friends and family.
Tessa Costich, a current high school mathematics teacher and peer tech coach, seamlessly blends her passion for mathematics with a love for technology in the classroom. Known for her engaging teaching style, Tessa nurtures a deep understanding of mathematical concepts while actively incorporating innovative tools, apps and software.
